The 18th annual Perry Elks Lodge #2629 Education Banquet held April 21st 2003, was a big success with 84 attending. We presented $6,500 in scholarships, one of which was from the Oklahoma Major Projects. This would not be possible if it had not been for the support of our members and their sposes.
Our thanks to: the kitchen staff for preparing the food - our members who worked in the kitchen or served - our members who bought tickets and attended - those members who provided complimentary tickets to the youth and their families - and, finally, to Katherine Jerome, Sharon Wise and Eileen Merril for providing funds for the memorial scholarships. A lot of effort goes into this banquet and if we've overlooked anyone, please know you were appreciated.
