The Perry Elks Lodge has a very active “Campers Club”. The club holds regular meetings (including a pot-luck dinner) on the first Tuesday of each month.
While most trips are 2 to 4 days, some are even longer. And while most trips are to places in Oklahoma, some move over into Texas or Kansas.
The Perry Elks Camping Club held its regular monthly meeting on April fools day at 6:30 PM in the Elks Dining Room. We talked about our trip to Washington Irvin. There was five couples who went.
April 25th was our other trip to Pawnee. This trip was made before “press time” for The Elkhorn, therefore no details are available for this issue. April 25th was our other trip to Pawnee (Friday Night eat out at Chicks).
There was a few of us who had to leave on Saturday to go to Cushing Elks Lodge for business for the Elks. We discussed our May trip. Some of you will go to Marilyn N. and Judy H. camp ground for a weiner roast May 10th.
Our “Pot Luck” dinner was great as always. Our next meeting will be May 6th.
