Meeting Today's Home, Family and Business Needs!
"Person to Person - Satisfaction and Service are Our Business"
During the first part of January my youngest son Michael and Brian the man he works for, felt the Lord lead them to put together an Extreme Home Makeover of their own in Wellston Oklahoma. They did it under the name of Christ in Action.
The family was living in a house that was over 100 years old and used to be an old school house. They didn't have central heat or air, the roof leaked badly and the sewer line was broken.
Brian had done this sort of thing before but my son had not. After 10 days of furious activity the house was revealed to the family on Sunday January 16th.
Pictures of the project may be found at:
God's blessing was all over the project from people donating money to their time and materials. If you want to hear an accounting of all the miracles
that happened you can go to the Tim and Mike show. My oldest son Tim does a podcast once a week with a friend named Mike.
Here is the URL for the Tim & Mike show. The Mike on the show is not my son but in both the last two shows he calls in towards the midway point to
testify of the goodness of God!
Episodes 11 & 12....
My purpose in sharing this was not glorify either of my sons or Brian but to encourage you that the Body of Christ is alive and well on the earth and when they come together in unity for one purpose great things happen.
Let's be generous out there!

The Tax Man Cometh!
It's that time of year again and already there ads on television and people standing on corners dressed as the Statue of Liberty or Uncle Sam enticing you to give them part of your tax return.
For most folks, taxes are not overly complicated and if you choose direct deposit you can have a refund check in 10 days. Combine that with the fact that most people can e-file for free, and you may want to save some of that refund for yourself before so freely giving it away.
Many places will charge you a fee to do your taxes and e-file it for you. That is great but there are several choices of professional software options available that can be used on line for free. They ask questions and almost do the taxes for you and will e-file for free. So, you get the same tax forms submitted, get the same return and still get it in 10 days if you use direct deposit.
There are those that offer a return in a day or two... those are not returns but rather an R.A.L. (Refund Anticipation Loan) where they loan you money
based on what your return should be and they keep the return. The average consumer can expect to pay about $100 for a $2,500 return.
So, consider keeping every penny of your return and file yourself. Even the IRS gives you this information for free. So take advantage of it!
If your income is $58,000 or less, let Free File brand-name software do the hard work for you with free tax preparation and free e-filing. It's available through http://www.IRS.gov, where 20 tax software companies make their products available for free. Some also support state tax returns for free. You can go directly to http://apps.irs.gov/app/freeFile/jsp/index.jsp?ck to take advantage of this option. And by the way... approximately 70% of all taxpayers have an AGI of $58,000 or less.
If you still don't feel comfortable choosing from this top 20 list you can go to their interactive questionnaire at http://apps.irs.gov/app/freeFile/jsp/wizard.jsp to help you find the right one. In any case...
Happy Tax filing!
